The boom on these targets were okay, but do not even compare to Sure Shot Targets. We had a few of these star targets that didn't even go off, just shred to pieces.

Bought 2 of the 2.5 lb. One did not blow even with multiple hits and the one that did blow up was on the second shot. Hopefully I can get my money back at the store when presenting the "dud" with multiple holes in it

they work as stated, however sureshot targets are loads louder and way cheaper.

For those of you that have used other targets like Tannerite or Sure Shot Exploding Targets, these will be a dissapointment. I purchased eight Star targets (three different sizes). Two of the eight did not even go off when shot with a .223 and spilled the contents on the ground. It was an expensive waste. While the others did go off and were a lot of fun, the boom that was created was rather muted as compared to other targets I have used.

These targets werent the best ive ever shot, they were exellent targets but i think il stick to my main supplier sureshot exploding targets
